Without Boundaries III

encaustic with mixed media on wood, 10 x 10 in.

In my paintings I seek to convey the vigor and exuberance, as well as the serenity, that I find in nature. Using beeswax, paint, paint stick, pigments, and collage, I modify and manipulate the territory between the real and the abstract. The landscape and light in Southern California, my new home, intrigue me.

I have shown my work in Belgium and China, New York City, Chicago, and in Philadelphia and the surrounding area., I have exhibited my paintings in many solo and group shows in both private and public venues. My paintings are in the collections of the Noyes Museum, LaSalle University Museum, Rutgers University, and the National Women's Museum of Art.
